Although today, it’s a digital negative, the quote still holds true. If you follow me on my Facebook page, you may have noticed the recent post I had about how photography is much more than just pushing a button, along with a “before and after”.
After I get home from a session, I download all the images off my memory card. Then, I go through them and decide which ones are usable (the best of the best) and then I get to editing. It is one of my favorite parts of my job. It actually makes me giddy. Getting to finesse an image and make perfect brings me such joy. And although my workflow is basically the same with each image, sometimes, I’m still surprised with how great the final product turns out being. And I don’t think that feeling will ever go away.
