Christmas time is fast approaching. Yes, it’s still September, but the days are getting shorter and there is a definite chill some mornings when I take my kiddos to school. So it’s time to start thinking about Christmas, family photos, holiday cards, and lots of other goodies that come along with the colder months.
Well, here at ROP, we are going to help you get a few of those things out of the way before it’s really time to bundle up and get cozy with a cup of cocoa.
This year, our Holiday Mini Sessions include some really great items to get you ready for the upcoming holiday season. You will receive (depending on which package you choose) 5 or 10 images on a disc with a print release, a custom Christmas ornament, and 25 custom holiday cards (with package 2). There are a very limited number of slots available on session dates, so book EARLY to reserve your spot. I hope to see your smiling faces in front of my camera soon!
In the spring, I was able to take an evening and photograph a couple of my closest friends (who happen to be sisters), along with their kiddos. You may remember Tiffany from her bump session earlier this year. We had so much fun. I wrangled Keagan and Molly for some cute photos, along with some sweet shots of them with their mom, Aaren. And baby Jase was an absolute angle during the session. I love getting to work with my friends and capture some memories for them.
Beautiful Alyssa is graduating! I have known Alyssa and her family for several years and have watched her grow from a little girl to a tall, graceful, amazing young woman.
We photographed Alyssa’s session in beautiful downtown Knoxville (one of my absolute favorite places!). It was an awesome day and the light was gorgeous! Alyssa was down for anything and a trooper (she was a bit under the weather–but you definitely couldn’t tell).
I love photographing seniors. Documenting this special time in a high schooler’s life is a real passion for me. I love talking to them about their excitement about graduating or getting accepted to college or even just the cute shoes they brought for their session.
Enjoy Alyssa’s images!
I would love to introduce you all to my beautiful new niece, Baylee. She is absolutely adorable! Her daddy & mommy (and everyone else in our family) are completely and totally in love with her. I can’t wait to watch her grow and capture her smiles and laughs (and even those cute little sad faces that babies make) all along the way.
I had the privilege to photograph Emily’s college graduation photos. We photographed her session in downtown Sweetwater, Tennessee. I LOVE it down there. The historic buildings, the duck park, all of it. The weather was supposed to be rainy, but it cleared up just before we started shooting. It’s great when that happens and totally makes my day!
I’m so glad to finally be getting to blog this. I’ve had a lot on my plate, but I’m trying to get my blogging mojo back. I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this beautiful couple and their adorable little bump. And this bump happen to contain my little niece! Johnathon (Baylee’s daddy) is my baby brother (okay, he’s only the baby by 22 months, but still)! It was a cold day in February when we photographed this session, but the light was absolutely beautiful. Johnathon and Heather were troopers sticking it out in the cold and wind so we could capture these images.
I’m trying to get back into my routine after taking most of the month off to focus on family time and getting ready to start a new semester at school. What better way to kick things off for 2014 than by showcasing a beautiful maternity session?!
One of my closest friends in the whole world (we’ve been friends since we were 11!), Tiffany, and her husband, Matthew are expecting their first baby, a boy. I absolutely could not wait until her belly was big enough to photograph! And does she not have the cutest bump? This session was such a joy. And although we’ve had some crazy cold weather here in East Tennessee lately, it was just right for picture-taking outside and the light was gorgeous. I am so happy for Tiff and Matthew! I can’t wait until baby Jase arrives in a few short weeks and snuggle him (and take his photos, too!).
