Today, I’m throwing it back to last summer, when my best friend, Aaren, was getting ready to welcome a new member into her family. It was a beautiful evening to document these last days as a family of four. And just a few weeks later, she gave birth to the amazing and adorable Avery.

Aidan {Newborn}
I’ve known Aidan’s mom, Kristi, for 20+ years, and was so elated for her when she announced she was to welcome a new baby boy into her family. I just had to go over to meet this sweet little guy a couple of weeks after he was born and spend a little time catching up with Kristi in between shutter clicks.
Finn {Newborn}
I was so excited to get to meet this adorable little man. I’ve known Finn’s mom, Kelly, for several years, and she and her husband, Chase, were so gracious to welcome me into their home to capture some of his first days. He has some of the best hair I’ve ever seen on a newborn and I just had to get that documented as well.

On a blustery and cloudy day in early Winter, I met Emily in a park in downtown Tellico Plains to document her maternity session. She was absolutely beautiful and the wind was definitely a friend that day. It made her look so etherial and radiant. I know she couldn’t wait for her baby boy to make an appearance in early February.

Right before Christmas, I got to photograph this cute family just a few short days before mom, Jessi, was to be induced. Big sisters, Arleigh and Reighan, were so excited about welcoming their new baby sister to the family.
Levi {Newborn}
After a short stay in the NICU, I had the privilege of meeting this sweet, little cutie. Levi is probably one of the most laid back newborns I’ve ever met. And Caylen & Josh are wonderful parents already. Even big (fur) brother, Harley, had to get in on the session.

I had the opportunity a couple of months ago to photograph this beautiful mom-to-be, Caylen. Her husband ended up not being able to make it to the session, so she asked if her parents and her mother-in-law could be there. I, of course, said yes! There is something so special about the love between grandparents and their grandchildren. And I couldn’t be happier to get to capture some of it.
Courtney & Jacob {Love}
Courtney is a dear friend of mine and when she announced that she was engaged to the wonderful Jacob, I couldn’t imagine anyone else documenting the first step of their new adventure.
Their relationship is so much fun and they are so very much in love.
I simply cannot wait to celebrate with them at their reception following a private courthouse ceremony later this year.
Avery {Babies}
Oh, how I love this little nugget! He has such a personality and has the heart of everyone he meets. He is growing so fast and I loved getting to capture the milestone of when he was finally able to sit unassisted. Before we know it, he’ll be turning one and it will be time for a smash session. I can’t wait!
Brooke & Lane {Milk & Cookie Minis}
Oh, y’all. You already know how I feel about Christmas. It’s only my favorite time of year. And this year I am super excited to announce the Mini Sessions I will be doing: Milk & Cookies! So much fun for those Christmas cards you’ll send out to your friends and family this year.
